It is like that here too, but they often fail to diagnose the emergency. It is worse for the elderly because after all they are old.

The only time I've been in an ER was to have a deep cut stitched up in the web of my thumb. The young ER doc left me two times to deal with the more needy. A hugely fat woman waddled in and dropped a baby right onto the floor of the ER! Once I was on the table, it took over an hour just to get 12 stitches. The place seemed like bedlam.
