That was a very noble gesture on the part of the Israelis. Wouldn’t it be great if each side started to compete with each other by doing stuff to prove they are the more civilized and noble of the two instead of the most selfish, deadly, and destructive. What if all the resources and energy that are poured into that issue, were used to back such good faith deeds. What would the region look like in 5 years? It could be the freakin’ garden paradise of the planet. What if they then became the model of turning oppositional cultures into good neighbors. Shoot, we’d probably even see a Dem offering to open a door for a Repub, or a Repub offering condolences for the suffering of a Dem. Maybe we would even see something like this: “America! America! God shed his grace on thee And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!” Probly not….
