Kerry was cheated too. Go to bradblog.com for all the details of how the GOP stole Ohio 2004.

The swiftboating didn't necessary make the difference. It just made it closer. McCain is the likely GOP candidate and he was also swiftboated. But swiftboating won't work again. And if they try it again, Kerry would smash them in the teeth.

Edwards was Kerry's running mate and he didn't make the difference. Gore let himself be hoodwinked in Florida, dissed Clinton and picked Lieberman, a terrible choice. They've all made mistakes or been less than stellar. Even Clinton with his girlfriends like Gennifer Flowers.

Also, the swiftboating in 2004 was largely the fault of the press, esp Fox News and the rightwing media, which gave those bastards credence even though they knew they were full of crap. The press wont touch those smear jockeys with a ten foot pole again. That was a single-use stinkbomb.

Besides, hasn't Kerry been proven right on all the issues?
And hasn't he been pounding Bush-cheney-Rumsfeld hard all year and exposing them as the liars and failures they really are?
