It's not established Reid did anything illegal or even unethical. If it turns out to be, it's still just a technicality. Every campaign has at least small technical offenses like this. The same as a corporate executive letting the company pay for some small personal item. Business as usual. Not corruption.

However, when Enron gave Bush-Cheney hundreds of thousands in unreported freebies in 2000 that was corrupt. It was on such a grand scale that it was truly criminal. Rove of course was the main guy responsible. He's got no ethics whatsoever.
