You can experiment with and test adaptation and convergence and divergence. You can test religious principles to see the benefits of conducting one self in a community via the principles of righteous living. You can trace the history of specie adaptation. You can review the historical record of human successes and failings with respect the scriptural teachings related to living a life of sin and corruption vs one of virtue.

Adaptation seems to validate the basis of evolving species. However, the foundations of physics does not explain why being kind and generous can result in a good life for human beings and being greedy and glutenous can result in a ruined life.

Scripture seems to validate the basis for living according to principles of decency but does not prove that creating creatures is according to a divine purpose.

In empirical science proving the null to be false is usually required before a plausible explanation with its evidence can be accepted as fact. You cannot prove the idea of 'omnipotence behind purpose and manifestation' to be false. Neither can you prove the 'bang from nothingness to be false'. Therefore, with regards to science, neither theory is provable, neither is disprovable. Both are plausible explanations more likely to be enmeshed somehow than estranged.

and whadya mean 'before we were humans'. I've always been human.
