Interesting.... I'm wondering how the Canadians figure that US taxes are 1/2 of Canadian taxes with your tax freedom day being 30 Jun and ours being 26 April?

We spend 52 days of income on out of pocket Health and Medical Care. How many extra days do Canadians spend on Health and Medical care outside of the NHS?

Canadians Celebrate Tax Freedom Day On June 30 Canada's Tax Freedom Day, the day Canadians finally start working for themselves, came on June 30, according to the Fraser Institute. From the beginning of the year, Canadians worked until June 29 to pay the total tax bill imposed by federal, provincial or local governments in the form of numerous taxes, fees and levies....

Since you didn't have a link, I had to google. ... This is strange....

Canadians Celebrate Tax Freedom Day on June 19th ...
fraserinstitute.ca
Release Date: June 16, 2006

Odd that your Fraser Institute has June 30th and the one I found has Jun 19th. I noticed that your Fraser institute didn't mention which tax year, while the US version mentions 2006. Comparing different years? No way, that would be a lack of honesty and integrity.... what's your explanation?
