There is no "reidgate". That's a fabrication. Tipping a doorman and failing to report a legal land transaction is very small cheese in DC.

Only liars and crooks would defend Harry Reid's right to take bribes and profit from ordering the disposal of federal lands near Las Vegas so his cronies could develop it. Harry Reid is a crook. Any ethical Senator would demand that he resign. Every ethical American should demand that he resign or that the Senate act to eject him.
