I'd still like to know how Canadians that come to the US come up with the 1/2 number. Are we getting Canadian mathematicians or are they staying up north?

So we pay 64 days more taxes, and many people don't buy the extra coverage you do. So even after you pay the 52 days we pay 12 days more taxes. And for us it is every tax payer.

You have to remember that those 52 days for medical and health care doesn't include Medicare and Medicaid. But ignoring that, we have 40-45 million Americans that have no health coverage at all. Typically, those are lower income Americans that don't qualify for Medicaid. About 14% of our population doesn't have health care coverage. What percentage of Canadians don't have health care coverage?

BTW, doctors in the US do not have to accept Medicaid patients.
