Fife company files antitrust suit against telecom giant Wednesday October 18, 5:10 pm ET Continuant Inc. claims that Avaya Inc. locks out competitors from fixing or maintaining the telecom giant's equipment and has filed an antitrust suit in a New Jersey federal court. Fife, Wash.-based Continuant, which maintains telecom systems, filed the suit against New Jersey-based Avaya, which was spun off from Lucent Technologies in 2000 after that company was spun off from AT&T in 1996.
