If STX has to go buy Flash to put on those hybrid HDDs, I guess they could work together. Watkins said he offered to buyout Samsung's HDD operations and they wouldn't sell. A really strange setup at Samsung. It just doesn't seem to fit and they have never pushed it, like they did with DRAM and Flash. Jesse - of course the prediction was for mostly CY2007, so this year doesn't count. I think he/she underestimates Apple's marketing prowess. They are very good at that. Tech: SHOULD have a good day. I couldn't figure out what the problem was yesterday. Sometimes, it seems that those who control the market simply don't want to see the positives. Profits seem pretty good, the economy survived high oil prices, the Fed seems to be taking at least a wait and see attitude.
