Everything you mention plus they have similar tonnage and grades of zinc and are both in relatively flat, open areas in a warm, sunny climate in an area with fairly cheap and plentiful labor.

Unlike Skorpion, MMGG has existing infrastructure from historic silver mining, along with lots of high-grade silver.

In addition Skorpion had to build a power plant and sulphuric
acid plant. But MMGG has Penoles with excess acid from their
operation not far away, and 13,000 V power avail (2 mines are
powered presently).

This would require more power if the refinery is located in
Mexico, but it may be elsewhere as several countries are interested.
