But if The US hadn't been attacked and he was the head of a nation with a badly equipped military that had only done peacekeeping for years, and didn't even have a way to transport that many men, what would Clinton have done? We ended up in Afghanistan cause Martin didn't want to go to Iraq.

DEFINE LIBERAL, not as the name a party gives itself but as a political ideology. What bloody difference does a definition make? Classical liberalism. Coming from libertas, meaning "liberty" or "freedom", this concept refers to freedom from control by government, tradition, or an established church. It typically celebrates the potential of the individual and is more the antecedent of today's conservatism than of New Deal liberalism. What you're talking about is CORRUPTION not LIBERALISM or CONSERVATISM. Slapping a label on a corrupt politician and claiming that the label, and not his actions, define him is nonsense. I didn't put the labels on the parties. I didn't slap a label on a politician. These are the labels they use as their names. How do you refer to the Liberal Party of Canada if you don't use the word Liberal. You are trying to claim the term liberal as not being applicable to the Liberal Party of Canada, in many ways you are right, but I cannot change that.
