Putting Saddam back in power is preferable to what's going on now, which seems to head toward America-hating El Sadr in power, an Islamic Jihadist who would naturally side with Iran and Hezbollah, maybe even Al Qaida, though Al Qaida are Sunnis not Shias. Saddam and Al Qaida are natural enemies. Saddam could crack their heads and they could blow up Saddamites and we Americans could leave them to their hellhole. Invading Iraq was the biggest blunder any presdient has ever made, at least since 1965.

BTW, this idea came from rightwing radio, the Al Rantel Show, not from me. But in a sick way it makes sense. We need a strongman to control that country, one who hates Iran and Al Qaida. Good ole Saddam, huh?
