The Vietcong was smashed at Tet. The war continued because North Vietnam continued to attack. There really is no force like the NVA in this war.

But I don't think the enemy forces in Iraq would try something like Tet. I'm not sure they even could attempt it. The various militias fight each other as much or more than they fight the US military or government forces.
