As I said in my last post

But the idea that Canada's claim is completely solid and not reasonably disrupted, or that the US (and the other countries involved apparently the UK, maybe Russia, France and others) are trampling on Canadian sovereignty by moving subs or ships through the "Canadian territorial waters" is reasonably called fiction. What would not be fiction is that Canada has some claim to the waters. They are clearly at least within its exclusive economic zone.
