That's why to this day, I'm furious with people who say they were sending a message to the Republicans.

Ya they sent a message alright..and we were stuck with the tape recording of that message going around and around..

I hope all the Republicans who did that to the country learned their lesson and support their party...

Clinton won 51% for his second term despite Perot in the race and left office with 65% approval ratings. He is probably at about 65% now as well. Though he's no longer running for office, he's a symbol of how efficient and honest government can be. Despite Monica, Bill's 8 years were remarkably free of ethical issues. In fact he's Honest Abe compared to any opf the current rightwing leaders, who are continuous liars and even criminals. Bush on the other hand is just plain dishonest and also in serious denial.

Smear campaigns no longer work. Nowadays people look for facts. You should try using a few.

Remind your friends that Democrats are the only politicians more dishonest than Republicans. The Dems leave Repubs in their dust as they scoop up lobbyists' bribes.
