The Iranians produce some wonderful and moving films. The film described there reminds me of a powerful documentary "Iraq in Fragments' which includes an absorbing look at a young boy's life on the streets of Baghdad.

Nothing is off topic here! (except explicit political discussion- just because it's so hard to keep it friendly with people of varying political beliefs when you get in to the political stuff.)

Thanks for posting that. I have seen many Iranian films I have loved. Children of Heaven,the Mirror, and the White Balloon are some of my favorites- but the one I watch again and again, is Baran. It's Romeo and Juliet, as far as I'm concerned.
