Let's face it, islam is not tolerant of other viewpoints.....kudos for Mubarak for speaking the truth though.

I am intrigued by the following excerpt from your posting: "the Islamic world was facing cruel and incorrect accusations... Muslims themselves must take some responsibility for others erroneous impressions." If all those accusations are "cruel and incorrect" -- can anyone think of any positive aspects of modern-day Islam that would help bolster islams sagging image? All one reads and sees of islam projects angry, paranoid folks spewing vile hatred of everything human beyond islam -- the "religion of peace" (sic), yeah right. Kudos to Al Zahara for their public-relations efforts. Come on, someone list some good reality-based aspects of modern islam? Be positive. Any ideas, anyone? You defenders of islam, chime in without redirecting the query, if you can.
