My parents are the same way....after they turned 70 its like the began a process of becoming less mature. I figure in a year or two my dad will be so immature that we'll have to stick him back in the oven he came from

TIVO? That's way ahead of me. I have a DVD/VCR attached to my TV and I have no clue how to make it record. I just use it to play the vids. I have an old VCR hooked to the TV in my office and I can record on that one. Simpler. The newer one is just too complicated and I never learned how to set the correct time on the thing anyway.
