I escaped just such a neighborhood. My next door neighbor on one side built a dam and destroyed my backyard and the neighbor on the other side was always unhappy and thought that things kept happening to him through no fault of his own. The surprise came when I returned to remove my firewood to avoid any complications in a home inspection. The neighbor across the street who thought it was ok for him to blow his snow into the street came over and helped me load the firewood. My current neighbors are my friends.
