The planet's biggest uranium deposit is in South Australia at Roxby Downs. It's called Olympic Dam and is owned by energy/mining giant BHP Billiton. Read further on their website at:
bhpbilliton.com
BHP is one of the stalwarts of the Ozzie stock market (BHP was a purely Australian co until they merged with South Africa's Billiton a few years ago). Every mom and dad and every fund manager owns a bit of BHP. For Australians, your quoted uranium secret probably ain't much of a secret.
