You mean like all the dems who lined up behind Clinton and Barney Frank and Gerry Studds, Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, etc...???

What happened to "Its his personal life"....???

I suspect that the Repubs are willing to compromise to keep from losing control...which is exactly what I would expect....

Think they tried a bit to 'have their cake, and eat it too'... make the political move (every Party vote counts...), while damping down Press attention as much as possible.

Still... *Hell* of a headline. Gotta make it's way in some text books one day!
