I'd rather error on losing some rights and having the republic fix that after we win the war vs losing the the war but keeping what rights? I didn't think the Islamic Fascists will let us keep any of our rights.

"attempts to justify unconstitutional acts" begs the question if the argument is about whether the acts are unconstitutional in the first place.
