Meurice didn't "project" a "flash correction", but indicated that there is a possibility that flash demand might fall behind capacity in the near term and for a short while. This is always possible when capacity is ramping up and demand requires new applications or variations on existing applications that grab at consumers' pocket books. NVLS's Hill also referred to the uncertainty about the consumer purchases in the Christmas season and its effect on inventory.
