I agree, people will tune out the same old negative ads like "weak on terrorism", "voted against the tools needed", "too liberal", blah blah blah. Because no one has helped terrorists more than Bush with his debacle in Iraq. That's the biggest issue by far and it's connected to everything else like deficits, energy, corruption, terrorism, you name it. But some of the new more relevant charges will hit home, like "rubber stamp for Bush-Cheney", "urged Foley to run for re-election", "had six years and accomplished nothing", etc.
