Re: "...inflation remains low" LOL! Check out the "Trimmed Mean PCE" (most accurate measure of personal inflation in the US currently available. A product of calculations by the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank). It's what the Fed is increasing looking at --- not the crappy, fudged-up CPI put out by the BLS (heavily manipulated to keep the cost of government programs down). PCE has shown rising inflation this year... not falling. (While the CPI has been so scattershot and all over the place that it seems to deny the ability of anyone to establish that there is any kind of trend going on at all.... :-)
