06Q4 "Early Forecast" EPS Contest Update epscontest.com Please recommend this post if you'd like people to join us in the EPS Contest. Less than 3 and a half days to go... Entry deadline is this Friday morning (October 27th) at U.S. market open. Forgot to mention how we're going to deal with the ATI acquisition... In short, we'll exclude ATI revenue from the AMD Total Revenue category, but all other categories will be unaffected. The AMD EPS category will remain unchanged. IOW, the EPS will simply be whatever AMD reports on their Consolidated Statement of Operations under Net income per common share (diluted), as usual. Which may or may not include dilution for the purchase, one-time charges, the impact of ATI's business, etc. Trying to force an apples-apples EPS category for the contest is too potentially messy, so we're just going with the bottom line... We've got just 3 entries so far. Don't forget, enter now and you will already be covered for the two contests later in the quarter. There is no downside because you can replace it with a new entry in the later contests if you desire, but you'll have established a placeholder at the very least (in case you're out of town, or better, if your original numbers don't need changing).
