I agree with you about pot being legalized and regulated.

Meanwhile the FDA is currently harming the public.

There is no reason left for them to insist that doctors can't prescribe it.

They have the ability to reverse themselves in one day. And they need to be honest enough to do it now.

People are sick, suffering and dying that could all be helped. The FDA needs to act ASAP. They need to ask congress to change the law.

There is no justification for them to do anything else.

The marijuana users I have known over the years have been in two categories, chronic and the "look at me, what a daring bad boy am I with this weed hanging out my mouth" occasional smoker.

Legalized pot might take some of the "buzz" out of it for the amateur. Which might lead to a real and possibly productive hobby. For the old pro types, regulating legal sales could give them someone to sue down the road when it is proven that regular use lops off a minimum of 20 I.Q. points. All in all, a great product...but I'll pass either way.
