"regular use lops off a minimum of 20 I.Q. points."

any studies you'd care to point out?

Since the FDA wants to tell us there is no benifit, it sould be easy to find such a study .. if any such study exists.

I understand that nutrasweet lops off 10 points

'lops off a minimum of 20 I.Q. points.'

Many long term chronic tokers readily admit to a price paid with regards to short term memory and when people are stoned, there can be no doubt that they can't perform complicated algorithms with the same competency as when non-stoned. Being stoned offers a different level of awareness and competency in some areas. It offers an escape from the mundane for the casual user. I don't see how being stoned could ever be anything but counter productive in an academic setting. A creative arts program, maybe.

That, by itself, is not a reason to make it illegal unless we are going to make alcohol which is a much more dangerous drug illegal also.

When it was not so much in the mainstream the feds busted Steven Stills after vacuming his carpet and finding a seed. Now the feds pull up thousands of plants in Wharfrat's neighborhood each season and might not bust a single person. The implied risk of being an outlaw (that really isn't) seems to increase the mystique for the casual 'bad boy' user.

"All in all, a great product...but I'll pass either way.

I don't partake either.
