You don't get to say what is not admissible on this thread. Sure any statement about what would have been is speculation, but this is very solid speculation. If I said "the sun would still rise each day had Kerry been elected president" that would also be speculation, but its hardly something that is reasonably doubted. Pork has grown under Democratic administrations and congresses as well as under Republican administrations and congresses. When have the Democrats actually reduced, or even stopped the growth of pork, over the course of a presidents term? Point to one example, and maybe you have some minimal reason to doubt my speculation. Point to several and I'll concede that you have a point.
