pomp, I learned a long time ago not to predict the outcome of any election. Polls quite often are not on the ball, and there can be a sudden change of mind in the last few days of a campaign. A divided congress is not a bad deal in most cases, but I wonder what will happen since the demorat party has leaned so far to the left that it smacks of socialism. This nation does need to restore the checks, and balances, that were intended by the Founding Fathers. Somewhere along the way, we lost them.
