TJ, you are trying to build a case that the USA is a terrible place, with systemic horrors in a world of risk, just waiting to collapse and that it's so much worse than elsewhere. "See, just look at Katrina" What were the names of those murdered? How many were there? Debunking the myths: popularmechanics.com

Answer = buy gold. Hide at top of mountain. Clutch talisman. Chant incantations.

Check out the survivors of natural disasters around the world and see who is better off.

Your racist attack on Americans and America is wrong.

I don't see much wrong with Condoleezza or you buying shoes when Katrina's survivors were huddling in a stadium. You go on holidays to lovely tropicana while around the world, people are in desperate circumstances and dying from them.

Condoleezza wasn't going to be joining the swarms of people to go traipsing around New Orleans looking for somebody to help. There were plenty of people who would be doing that. Politicians going for the photo shoot in disaster areas is not helpful.

PS: I used "racist" first, so I win the argument.
