Bush has totally ignored the advice of the generals. That is one Bush's most blatant lies. There is a long record going back to General Chenseki of Bush-cheney-Rumsfeld not paying any attention to the good advice the generals have given, which is why most retiring generals are coming out against Bush-Cheney.

The generals have already said we cannot win a military victory in Iraq and that it is a civil war. Bush-cheney still deny both those obvious truths. McCain is also a knucklehead for suggesting we throw in 100,000-200,000 more troops. For one thing we don't even have them.
