Bush has had 3 1/2 years to accomplish something in Iraq and all that has occurred is FUBAR.

Bush misjudged the situation in Iraq and has failed miserably - now American prestige is in ruins. Bush actually thought all that had to occur was for the US Army to show up and everyone in Iraq would throw flowers. He didn't even have a cohesive plan for the aftermath of the takeover of Iraq. Then he's been in total denial ever since.

I suspect this mess continues for years yet but Bush is delusional to think the Muslims in Iraq will be "allies" in the War on terror. For one thing they hate Israel and our support of them. I don't think there are many Iraqi's left who appreciate what Bush has done to their country. Maybe he can buy off a few chumps like Maliki but most Iraqi’s just want the US out.

Yes, Pro, I am sure the complete incompetence of the Bush plan in Iraq....from not enough troops to disbanding the army, to squandering billions, to failed stewardship, inabiity to rebuild infrastructure...to uncapped sectarian violence going back 1400 years.....it has to be the fault of the democrats.

How truly lame to believe the Iraqis in the middle of Ramadam are counting the days until our election so they can force the ignorant over here to support "cut and run" policies.

Tell me, Pro..if the Baker commission comes out for staged deployment to points outside the country (the Murtha Plan), and your paster in chief adopts that policy, will you still call it cut and run?

EVERYTHING is the fault of the democrats. Amazing. The republican party I remember was the party of responsibility. Of course, you weren't a republican back in the 70s and 80s, were you?
