With the USA population having now reached 300 million, the USA is now the second significant figure in the 1.3 billion Chinese population. So it will not be surprising if there are 3 times as many Chinese in cyberspace as Americans one of these days, and pretty soon at that. Cyberphones and notebooks aren't much more than a bit of plastic and some wiring, so are much cheaper than an SUV, and 10 lane highway, meaning everyone can afford one.

Computers and cyberspace are for people with brains - the digital divide is not one of financial ability, but of functional ability. People who are not interested in writing, numbers and abstract symbols and ideas are not much interested in cyberspace.

It's like discovering a new country. Umpty millions are migrating to it. They are the symbolists. The 3D people are staying put. Cash will flow to cyberspace.
