A majority of Americans say that they would most like to see Democrats take control of Congress, according to a Newsweek poll conducted Oct. 19 and 20. Out of 1,000 adults contacted, 55% said they'd vote for the Democratic candidate in their district, vs. 37% who would vote for the Republican. When asked what was the most important issue in their decision, 31% of those polled pointed to Iraq; 18% said it was the economy. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points
