I'm afraid, when stocks do blow up, it will be in October, 1987
fashion. One entity is holding all the futures longs now. There
is no other natural support under these markets. The bears
are dead. The mountain of derivatives supporting these
``free'' markets needs to be maintained
and grown at all costs. The associated amounts today are
a few hundred thousands times higher than they were in 1987.
Unfortunately, the Fed and its policies have ensured the
collapse of the dollar and bonds, which will cause enormous
pain for everyone.
