A very interesting article in current BusinessWeek about a new basket of ETFs that should come to market within weeks. What is unique about this new breed of ETF is that they will invest in specific disease categories...cancer,gastronintestinal,etc. They will be called HealthShares and should benefit the mid-to-lower cap biotechs as they will exclude the large cap companies.

There are already 19 health-related ETFs, but again this will be the first disease specific...will be interesting to see which companies are deemed worthy of such investing. Can only hope I hold a few of them...(:>)
