He snuck in a really nasty shot at Reagan the other day, but as if he realized what he said, quickly backed off. I was also intrigued when he talked about being friends with what he called one of the founders of "modern" scientology. A secret believer? Thirdly, one night he told his audience that every night he takes two drugs (he named them and gave the dose but I don’t remember what they were). Said one makes him dream more vividly and the other helps him remember his dreams. That one sent shivers right down my spine.

I listen to him when I’m walking my dog. It’s either him or Air America. Besides, it's fun trying to figure out who he really is.

I've come to believe Savage is an act. Even if he actually believes half his stuff, he's way too over the top to not be performance art. He's a caricature. I used to listen to him on the way to work in Houston, in the same way people gawk at car wrecks.
