So you are saying that the increased revenue outweighs the cut in taxes? Certainly possible but seems farfetched given that the debt has skyrocketed since the cuts went into effect. If you have data showing a connection I'd be interested in seeing it.

One smart thing that has been overlooked is the repatriation act Bush enacted. One of the few smart things he did. That brought a lot of funds back into the US for cap-ex spending. Didn't collect much tax on it but it did give the economy a good shot in the arm.
