I tend to agree with you. Though materials and research supplies would be similar in all locations, people costs are so much lower that the dollar in China should travel quite a bit farther. The U.S. and Europe likely still have somewhat of an edge in experience in many fields to-date but that edge should erode within the next 5 to 10 years assuming similar spending levels.
