Well, we deserve the govt we elect. I just wish I didnt have to be SUBJECT to the stupidity of those large blocs you mention. If we could subdivide this nation into Reds and Blues I would certainly move in with people of my thinking. I cant even vote for a decent Congressional candidate cause Bob Wexler, a man I DESPISE is running UNOPPOSED. My area is so jewish it does no good for a Republican to even consider running. jdn

I am not so sure it isn't something other than laziness or culture. Frankly who on earth has time to work raise kids do everything kids need, and spend time with the husband or wife, raise money for charities, and read much of a newspaper or watch much news on Television? The over the top hysterics of the media is turning a lot of people off the media. People have so many crisis in their lives as soon as they turn on the news, that they just decide not to turn it on. Suddenly I know a dozen people who no longer take a newspaper, they don't want to know. Bring up almost any situation, and while they may have an opinion, they will not have any knowledge to go with it.
