do not what middle class values are? they different from lower or upper class values. Yep. Respectability, hard-work, perseverance, home ownership, education, security. My first exposure to lower class values was "La Vida." It was about Puerto Rican lower classes. What struck me most was that women looking for husbands cared most about whether or not they had "good hair."
