Yes, the politicians are all Democrats and even worse they are mainly black. The people facing eviction are predominately black. I feel for them cause A. they will never be able to afford anything comparable locationwise as they have now B. They wont get as much money as they would get if developers had to buy directly from them. Finally, the politics in that area are reputed to be pretty corrupt thus I imagin there are kickbacks involved here. jdn
