At least the percentage of GDP reflects the priorities of a society. If your a poor man and your children are starving, would you spend 25% of your income on guns and ammo? Or would you point out that your rich neighbor spends a hundred times more in terms of absolute dollars on the same stuff? Tenchusatsu
