not if the Dems get in control; look for a higher tax on dividends and capital gains. Qcom has not been shy about raising the dividend, but with all the uncertainty out there now (litigation and NOK licensing agreement), I would have to assume it is not a good time to raise the dividend. EU commission could take a bite out of cash with a fine; NOK could stop paying royalties; R&D expenses necessarily rising. On the other hand, it sure would be a "vote of confidence" in the future by management.
