Yep, three things made Kennedy memorable: Cuba, the space program, and Oswald.

I'd add Marilyn to the list.

Nothing like her singing "Happy Birthday, Mr. President, Happy Birthday to You..."

If Kennedy hadn't been martyred, he'd have gone down as one of our more unremarkable presidents.

Jim S, I think he was forced into action to the Cuban situation, and don't think that Oswald worked alone.
