<<Diminishing volume is bullish?>> I'd think Ray means it was diminishing on the move down. For the move back up, the volume should increase. Course that's relative, too: it's higher than on the downmove but not yet at the levels of the last up. Course maybe Ray means something else entirely....

Simply Amazing isn't it ?? ... Go figure. A. Flags Definition: A "small, compact parallelogram of price fluctuations, or tilted rectangle, which slopes back moderately against the prevailing trend." Flags slant down in an uptrend and up in a downtrend. They form after a rapid advance or decline, and are characterized by diminishing volume. Pennants too.
