"Ford breaking out on heavy volume..........now up $.23 with 17 million shares trading hands."

I'm in the game, baby! Trailing stop @ 5%!

Closed up $.40 near the high of the day on heavy volume. Should go up again tomorrow.

Of course, I have another stock......thousand shares. I took the stop off last nite with the expectation I'd sell half before the close today and take some profits......they were reporting earnings after the close. As of 2 PM EST, everything was fine......the stock was up slightly. When I went back to check on the stock at 3:15, it had dropped almost two dollars in less than 15 minutes. I was shocked. After thinking about it, I decided to wait and see how earnings went. Wrong move.....earnings were okay but forward guidance was weaker than expected. Tomorrow, I will pay a big price for my carelessness and unlike today, the cut will not come from my profit but my principle. :-((
