This election seems to be a hateful one. Those seem to be won by those who have the least common denominator of ethics. In that realm few would argue that democrats rule. President Bush tried to lead on many issues and Republicans in Congress refused to follow on most of his initiatives. Why would they be surprised that they are likely to be retired? For instance, what has been done to quell the growing tide of immorality and perversion? We were going to get a Marriage Protection Amendment, but President Bush went AWOL after the 2004 election.
